Assalaamu'alaikum warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuh.

One prosperous for us all.

Welcome to the portal which is dedicated by and for young people in Asia and Africa!

Have you ever been in Bandung?. We can enjoy various charms in the old town called Paris van Java. One of the charms of Bandung, is that it witnessed the conference the countries in Asia and Africa in 1955 and 2005. The two conferences are significant for human civilization in creating freedom and peace as well as human welfare. The 2005 conference some 106 countries attended, comprising 73% of the world population, succeeded in formulating BANDUNG DECLARATION as a form of mutual understanding to build a strategic partnership.

The Declaration contents have to be articulated into concrete actions through the organization of the youth meeting in the Asia-Africa. Youth need to bound themselves in reviving the spirit of Bandung Conference in 1955, maintaining the consistency of solidarity and cooperation between the countries of Asia and Africa. In this context, the implementation of the Asian-African Youth Forum (FPAA) in 2010 has to find its relevance with the current issues.

Infinite happiness occurs when youth is willing to attend the FPAA 2010, dated August 23 to 27, 2010 in Bandung, to carve a new history. The committee believes that the spirit in proclaiming a declaration would encourage billions of Asia and Africa public in reaching the future of independent, harmonious and prosperous society.

May Allah, God Almighty always bless our steps. Amen.
Wassalaamu'alaikum warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuh..

Dr. Amung Ma’mun, M. Pd
Head of Sports and Youth Office of West Java Province
